Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Quality Officer to join our team.

  • This role is responsible for maintaining, updating and amending the Primary School Brief and Secondary School Planning Guide in liaison with the Department of Education (the Brief owners).
About This Role

The Senior Building Quality Officer will undertake building design and documentation reviews, research and development of technical guidelines, manuals, templates and project briefs in addition to post occupancy evaluations and technical building advice.

This position is responsible for project advice and assists project teams of in-house and private sector professionals to plan, deliver and maintain education buildings for Government.

What We Are Looking For

We require an individual who has knowledge and experience in the design and delivery of Education buildings. You will have strong communication skills, and value working collaboratively with the team, other parts of Housing and Works, external agencies, and consultants.

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and technically minded.
