We are seeking an experienced
Structural Engineer
to lead the delivery of iconic building projects across Western Australia and nationally.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and deliver structural building projects from concept to completion.
Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, architects, clients, and contractors to ensure project success.
Develop sketches and calculations in support of design concepts and collaborate with designers.
Attend internal and external project design meetings to drive collaboration and project outcomes.
Conduct site inspections and prepare comprehensive reports to inform project decisions.
Ensure quality assurance processes are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
Mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Day-to-day tasks will involve working on various building types, including health, education, sports and leisure, multi-residential, retail, and commercial buildings.
The successful candidate will possess:
A Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
Significant experience in structural design and project delivery, preferably in engineering consultancy.
Extensive knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and regulations.
Proficiency in structural software packages, including RAM Concept, SpaceGass, and ETABS.
Strong understanding of building stability analysis and corresponding detailing techniques.
Expertise in post-tensioned and reinforced concrete, steel, and masonry construction methods.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
A problem-solving mindset and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
