Job Description
We are seeking a skilled
Senior Structural Engineer
to join our team in Singapore. As a senior member of the building business, you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists who bring ideas to life for clients across various building projects.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of engineering principles and be able to apply them to complex building projects. You will work closely with clients, sub-consultants, contractors, and colleagues to deliver high-quality results.
Key responsibilities include preparing detailed designs and documentation for building projects, leading and delegating tasks within a work group, and providing technical expertise to mentor and develop other structural engineers within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Recognized civil and structural engineering qualification (Bachelor/Master's degree)
Minimum 8-12 years of relevant experience in an engineering consultancy environment
Proven proficiency and experience in civil/structural engineering design and analysis on building projects in Singapore
Solid experience in reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, and structural steelwork design
Seismic design experience is advantageous
Sound understanding and application of relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices
Strong client focus, excellent communication skills, teamwork, and self-motivation
