Employment Coach Role Summary:
We are seeking an Employment Coach to join our team in Launceston. The successful candidate will provide tailored employment support to NDIS Participants, empowering them to achieve their vocational goals and build sustainable career pathways.
You will be motivating, mentoring and supporting personal growth, helping participants to develop and establish their vocational identity, tailoring supports to individual requirements, with on-site support once employment has commenced and assistance with integration.
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on & highly consultative support to a small group of participants
- Provide mentorship, encourage skills development and increase people's capacity for work
- Deliver person-centred supports to participants, some transitioning from school to work
- Provide on-site support once employment has commenced and assist with integration
- Provide support and consultation to employers
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
- Have current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Willing to complete a Criminal History Check
- Able to obtain a Working with Children Check & NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Able to successfully complete a NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement
- Travel as required for service delivery and support of participants
- Available to work full-time Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm
