The Portfolio Planning Manager will be responsible for coordinating governance and execution of strategic initiatives across our Customer Success portfolio, focusing on customer experience and commercial performance. This role will collaborate with senior leaders and initiative owners to align priorities, ensuring key achievements are met while influencing initiative outcomes through critical reviews and performance deep dives.

The role involves working closely with Delivery Managers, Commercial teams, and Initiative Owners to ensure program reports align with budgets and progress, identifying variances. Additionally, the Portfolio Planning Manager will challenge business partners on delivery and strategic output, supporting the Transformation Office in implementing governance frameworks across all initiatives, ensuring consistency with Singtel Group's guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with product owners, delivery managers, and project managers to identify revenue-generating or expense-saving activities.
  • Facilitate portfolio pipeline and prioritisation forums, providing recommendations based on insights, optimising processes, and ensuring business case benefits are realised with a consistent value management approach across the portfolio.
  • Guide and support the definition, implementation, and continual improvement of project management processes, standards, and governance.
  • Lead the continuous improvement of project management processes based on industry best practice and tailored to the organisational culture.
  • Create executive presentations and program reporting to provide coordinated, consolidated, and timely insights on the Program up to and including the SLT level.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Transformation and Project Management, with expertise in portfolio management, benefits analysis, organisational change, commercial proficiency, and Lean Six Sigma, in both Agile and hybrid environments.
  • Extensive experience in managing large-scale projects and sophisticated program scheduling, with strong financial leadership skills and the ability to interrogate budgets effectively.
  • Proven expertise in project governance processes, assurance activities, and hands-on delivery of technical projects and large-scale transformations in corporate environments.
  • Hands-on expertise in project and program management with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel for materials preparation, and experienced with Confluence, Jira Align, Jira Analytics, and Jira.
  • Strong planning and analytical skills with the ability to effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with senior business partners, including the C-suite, and facilitate sophisticated discussions.
