The Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) has been established to support the delivery and monitoring of ICT projects, programs, and digital initiatives within the Strategic Business Branch.

These organisational change management positions are based in the Strategic Business Branch and support the organisational change for transformational programs being delivered by the government.

These roles work with the Project or Program lead, the program/project teams, and other key stakeholders to drive business outcomes and ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing the benefits realisation for programs/projects, including the development of benefits management approaches, benefits maps, and profiles.
  • Working with key stakeholders to develop change management strategies for each program/project, their associated change/communications plans, and related artefacts.
  • Implementing change management strategies and ensuring the execution of individual plans.
  • Supervising external Business Transformation Partners to ensure deliverables meet required quality and align with program/project objectives.
  • Facilitating workshops and conducting impact assessments with program/project teams and stakeholders to inform planning and execution.
  • Guiding and coaching program team members and relevant stakeholders to build change management capability in their respective business areas and improve organisational change management maturity.
  • This position may involve supervising staff.

Requirements for success in this role include:

  • Highly developed knowledge and experience in delivering digital projects and programs within a government context.
  • Tertiary level qualifications and/or certification in Project Management, Program Management, and Portfolio Management, including one or more of: Diploma of Project Management, PRINCE2 Foundations, PRINCE2 Agile Foundations, Management of Successful Programmes (MSP) Foundations.
  • Industry-recognised certification.

This is a 12-month contract position with a pay rate of $150.00 per hour, including superannuation. The role is based in the ACT, with 2/3 days onsite.
