About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Support Officer to join our team at Queensland Fire and Emergency Services. As a Support Officer, you will play a critical role in providing administrative support to our regional operations, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services to our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level administrative support, including preparing and coordinating correspondence, reports, and other materials.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks, including human resource and finance activities, to ensure compliance with departmental policy and procedures.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support key processes and procedures.
  • Utilize databases to create, update, and analyze business activities, ensuring compliance and effective maintenance of records.
  • Coordinate the development and maintenance of administrative processes and procedures to ensure quality support services.
Requirements
  • Highly desirable requirements include a C Class driver's licence and government purchasing qualifications.
  • Knowledge or experience in human resource and finance systems and database management is highly desirable.
