Senior Claims Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Case Manager to join our team at Gallagher Bassett. As a Senior Case Manager, you will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of claims under the WIRC Act, with a primary focus on proactive claims management services for all customers.
The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the provisions of the WIRC Act and experience in managing a portfolio of claims. You will be responsible for building strong working relationships with aligned employers to achieve sustainable claims outcomes for their injured workers and business.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliant management of current and ongoing claims within the provisions of the WIRC Act and the non-delegated claims management model
- Deliver excellent customer service to injured workers and collaborate with treating doctors
- Identify and assist in achieving sustainable early Return to Work outcomes
- Ensure the swift processing of accounts for independent service providers and injured workers
- Determine claims in accordance with delegated limits and legislation and manage claims on an ongoing basis to finalisation
- Participate in Claim Review Meetings and Case Conferencing and prepare up-to-date summary reports of claims for clients
- Conduct regular face-to-face case conferences with treating health providers, injured workers, clients, and other relevant stakeholders
- Workers Compensation claims management experience
- Knowledge and experience in managing a portfolio of claims under the WIRC Act
- Strong knowledge of the provisions of the WIRC Act
- Proven experience in building lasting relationships and having quality face-to-face conversations with clients/customers
- Sound knowledge and experience in the Microsoft Office Suite of products and other work-based systems
- The ability to work both in a team setting and autonomously
