The Senior Case Manager will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of claims under the WIRC Act, focusing on proactive claims management services for all customers. This role requires strong working relationships with aligned employers to achieve sustainable claims outcomes for their injured workers and business.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliant management of current and ongoing claims within the provisions of the WIRC Act and the non-delegated claims management model.
- Deliver excellent customer service to injured workers and collaborate with treating doctors.
- Identify and assist in achieving sustainable early Return to Work outcomes.
- Ensure the swift processing of accounts for independent service providers and injured workers.
- Determine claims in accordance with delegated limits and legislation and manage claims on an ongoing basis to finalisation.
- Participate in Claim Review Meetings and Case Conferencing and prepare up-to-date summary reports of claims for clients.
- Conduct regular face-to-face case conferences with treating health providers, injured workers, clients, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Workers Compensation claims management experience.
- Knowledge and experience in managing a portfolio of claims under the WIRC Act.
- Strong knowledge of the provisions of the WIRC Act.
- Proven experience in building lasting relationships and having quality face-to-face conversations with clients/customers.
- Sound knowledge and experience in the Microsoft Office Suite of products and other work-based systems.
- The ability to work both in a team setting and autonomously.
