Senior Claims Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Case Manager to join our team at Gallagher Bassett. As a Senior Case Manager, you will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of claims under the WIRC Act, with a primary focus on proactive claims management service for all customers.
The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the provisions of the WIRC Act and proven experience in building lasting relationships with clients and customers. You will also have the ability to work both in a team setting and autonomously, with a flexible approach to work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of claims under the WIRC Act, with a focus on proactive claims management service for all customers.
- Build strong working relationships with clients and customers to achieve sustainable claims outcomes.
- Specialize in all parts of the claims management process, including initial liability determinations, return to work planning, claim closure, and dispute resolution.
- Conduct regular face-to-face case conferences with treating health providers, injured workers, clients, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in Claim Review Meetings and Case Conferencing, and prepare up-to-date summary reports of claims for clients.
- Workers Compensation claims management experience.
- Strong knowledge of the provisions of the WIRC Act.
- Proven experience in building lasting relationships with clients and customers.
- Sound knowledge and experience in the Microsoft Office Suite of products and other work-based systems.
- The ability to work both in a team setting and autonomously.
