Senior Administration Officer - Identified

This is a senior administrative role responsible for providing high-level executive and administrative support to the Professor of Indigenous Education and Academic Director.

  • The ideal candidate will have highly developed administrative skills, including experience providing executive assistance to senior staff.

The successful candidate will work independently and manage financial transactions, handle a busy workload with excellent organizational skills and exercise sound judgment and discretion. They will also be able to maintain confidentiality and build cooperative relationships with colleagues.

Key responsibilities will include:

Executive and Administrative Support
  • Provide high-level administrative and executive support to the Professor of Indigenous Education, managing their calendar, coordinating meetings, handling all correspondence and travel arrangements.

Administrative and Financial Management
  • Administer financial transactions and reconcile credit card accounts in accordance with University policy.

Reporting and Compliance
  • Draft correspondence, reports and other materials.

Stakeholder Engagement and Team Leadership
  • Work proactively to develop networks and liaise with internal and external personnel.
