Lead a Therapeutic Home Team

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated House Manager to lead our Intensive Therapeutic Care team in Bronte. As a House Manager, you will collaborate closely with a Therapeutic Specialist and Case Manager to bring the CARE model to life, creating a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the home in line with the CARE model, relevant legislation, and LWB policies
  • Provide direct care and support to children and young people in a residential setting
  • Be a visible and supportive leader in the home, offering guidance and role modelling for your team
  • Oversee and implement therapeutic care plans to support the wellbeing of children and young people
  • Guide your team in applying Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) techniques
  • Provide reflective supervision and mentoring to staff, fostering a strong and supportive team culture

Requirements

  • Diploma in Community Services, Youth Work, or a related field (desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience)
  • Leadership experience in services supporting children and young people, such as out-of-home care (OOHC) and Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) settings
  • Experience supporting individuals with disabilities, complex health needs, or behaviours of concern
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise a team, embedding therapeutic care practices
  • Current First Aid (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011) & CPR (HLTAID009) certificates
  • A valid driver's licence
