About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Manager to provide facilities management services and technical advice across our state-of-the-art Distribution Centre located in Kemps Creek.

This role involves overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the site, including cleaning, security, contractor management, self-delivery staff and waste management. You will be responsible for ensuring all programs, including reactive and preventative maintenance, are executed promptly and meet quality requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, with experience in managing budgets and leading teams. You will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all programs, including reactive and preventative maintenance, are executed promptly and meet quality requirements.
  • Oversee the efficient and effective operation of the site, including cleaning, security, contractor management, self-delivery staff and waste management.
  • Manage annual facilities budget, identifying and prioritizing funds to support required services.
  • Drive continuous improvement, implementing and developing safety standards and procedures, including conducting audits across the site.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Administration or Technical stream (advantageous).
  • Previous facilities management experience, ideally in a commercial supply chain environment.
  • Experience with budget responsibility, including capital and operational budget management.
  • Strong administration, planning and coordination skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, with experience working closely with local and nationally based clients, contractors, technicians and team members.
