Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Operations Manager to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for staff, visitors, and business operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining asset performance and compliance with regulations through preventative maintenance schedules and contractor management. They will also conduct minor repairs and routine maintenance tasks to ensure functionality and appearance of facilities.

In addition, the Facilities Operations Manager will foster a safe and secure work environment through regular facilities inspections and emergency response planning. They will manage space utilisation, address support requests, and maintain high standards of presentation across all sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain asset performance and compliance with regulations through preventative maintenance schedules and contractor management.
  • Conduct minor repairs and routine maintenance tasks to ensure functionality and appearance of facilities.
  • Foster a safe and secure work environment through regular facilities inspections and emergency response planning.
  • Manage space utilisation, address support requests, and maintain high standards of presentation across all sites.
  • Contribute to strategic long-term planning and optimisation of our property footprint.
Requirements
  • 2 years of hands-on experience in facilities or property management, coordinating with internal staff and external vendors.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, facilities management systems, and databases like tenant portals.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communications skills with strong customer service focus.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to establish priorities and manage workloads.
