Key Role Summary

">Sales and Relationship Manager

Build strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients to increase revenue and market share.

Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client account management matters.

  • Deliver timely and successful solutions according to client needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and grow opportunities.
  • Communicate progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives.

Proactively seek new business opportunities within designated territories.

Qualify commercial, political, and technical requirements.

Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profits.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of existing clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee strategic planning, forecasting, and contract negotiations.
  • Develop new business opportunities with existing clients or identify areas for improvement.
  • Escalate challenging requests or issues as needed.
  • Prospect designated territories for sales opportunities.
  • Provide annual sales forecast for budgetary purposes.

Travel extensively within Australia and overseas, sometimes for prolonged periods.

Work in a hybrid environment, with 3 days per week in Fremantle office and balance working from home.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an NV1 Security Clearance.
  • Familiarity with the maritime industry is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, Sales Manager, or in a customer-focused technical/commercial role.
  • Strong ability to network, communicate, and represent the company confidently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, approachable, sociable, and able to build trust and long-term relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts/projects at once.
  • General technical literacy.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools and MS Office (Excel in particular).
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices.
