Role Overview
Reporting into the Business Manager, the Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of key customer accounts to drive growth and long-term value. you will engage with existing clients to understand their needs, resolve issues, and identify opportunities to increase account value. Weekly, you will collaborate with the sales and service teams to review account activity, share insights, and refine strategies to strengthen client relationships. Monthly, you will report on account performance, highlighting progress, risks, and growth opportunities to ensure alignment with business objectives and regional priorities.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving customer retention and revenue growth through exceptional relationship management and solution-oriented service. Your efforts will directly support business targets by ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and identifying areas for expansion. Working closely with the Business Manager, you will contribute to the development of customer strategies that support sustainable growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and customer-focused professional to make a tangible impact on both client outcomes and overall business success.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets across key customer accounts
  • Identify and convert both short-term and long-term sales opportunities
  • Conduct regular visits to key accounts to maintain strong relationships and drive ongoing business growth
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive support and consistent follow-up
  • Manage and communicate Client Service Agreements accurately and effectively
  • Resolve customer complaints and queries promptly to prevent escalation
  • Conduct regular stocktakes and monitor asset usage, ensuring correct charging for loss or damage
  • Accurately record all client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of client requirements
  • Ensure seamless handover of sales contracts to internal stakeholders
  • Prepare and manage customer documentation, sales contracts, and records
  • Report regularly on KPIs, customer satisfaction metrics, and account performance
