Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the HR Manager and business leaders in a fast-growing organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the HR Manager on HR initiatives across all Australian businesses, mainly in the Melbourne office.
  • Implement HR activities such as workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding and offboarding, performance management, and other employee relations matters.
  • Provide HR advice on employment legislation, HR system operations, HR policies and processes, employee well-being program, etc.
  • Assist with negotiating enterprise agreements with the management teams.
  • Maintain HRIS (Success Factors) with new hires and employee data changes.
  • Support capability development initiatives, including training.
  • Provide support to the management team and implement HR programs from the organizational strategy.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (HR, industrial relations, business management, law).
  • At least 3 years' experience in a HR generalist role gained from a sizable company, ideally engineering or similar.
  • Ability to interpret and apply employment legislation such as Modern Awards and the Fair Work Act.
  • Experience with EBA establishment and execution is preferred.
  • Strong MS Office skills are mandatory, further knowledge of HRIS such as Success Factors will be of advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
