HR Generalist Role Summary:
Yunex Traffic is seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our fast-growing organization in Melbourne. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end HR services to our region in Melbourne and other locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the HR Manager in implementing HR initiatives across all Australian businesses, primarily in the Melbourne office.
- Develop and implement HR activities, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding and offboarding, performance management, and employee relations matters.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR advice on employment legislation, HR system operations, HR policies and processes, employee well-being programs, and other related matters.
- Assist with negotiating enterprise agreements with management teams.
- Manage HRIS (Success Factors) by maintaining accurate records of new hires and employee data changes.
- Collaborate on capability development initiatives, including training programs.
- Provide support to the management team and implement HR programs aligned with organizational strategy.
- Maintain a willingness to optimize processes and strive for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as HR, industrial relations, business management, or law.
- At least 3 years of experience in a HR generalist role from a sizable company, preferably in engineering or a similar field.
- Ability to interpret and apply employment legislation, including Modern Awards and the Fair Work Act.
- Experience with EBA establishment and execution is preferred.
- Strong MS Office skills are mandatory, with further knowledge of HRIS systems like Success Factors being advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong ownership culture with the ability to work independently.
- Can-do attitude, with initiative and efficiency.
