Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Food Service Manager to lead our food and beverage team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food service areas.

Responsibilities
  • Organize and coordinate the daily activities of the food service team to achieve high standards of customer satisfaction and quality.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve efficiency and productivity in the kitchen and service areas.
  • Lead by example, motivate, and coach the team to deliver exceptional service and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock levels, and sales data to inform menu planning and pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menus and promotions that meet customer preferences and dietary requirements.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a food service management role, preferably within a premium hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve high standards of performance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and external suppliers.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, food handling practices, and customer service standards.
  • A valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification and Australian National Police Check (or equivalent).
