About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Catering Manager to oversee and enhance our facility and event catering operations, including retail outlets and corporate facilities.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in the operational, management, and planning requirements of commercial venues. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing superior service to key user groups to ensure high levels of retention and satisfaction;
  • Driving strategic planning and the execution of financial targets, marketing and communication initiatives;
  • Identifying opportunities and building customer engagement to optimise the use of the venue and increase revenue streams;
  • Developing and delivering innovative food & beverage solutions;
  • Steering the venue to its projected growth;
  • Managing a small team of motivated professionals;
  • Oversseeing Retail and Corporate departments in delivering outstanding customer experiences;
  • Maintenance of highest level of compliance across liquor licencing and food safety.

A tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience in event, catering, or retail management is essential. Strong project management, time management, and problem-solving skills are also required.

The successful candidate will be a leader with the proven ability to delegate and lead others in a customer-focused environment. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist in developing positive relationships with colleagues, site contractors, community, and commercial partners.
