National Food Service Director

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Executive Chef Manager to oversee the cost-effective management of food and beverage services across multiple sites in South Australia and Western Australia.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that offers excellent opportunities for career growth and development. As an Executive Chef Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of our food and beverage operations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and hygiene.
You will have direct oversight of kitchen staff and be responsible for menu planning, food costing, and inventory management. Your expertise in HACCP principles, food safety regulations, and customer service will enable you to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our customers.
To succeed in this role, you must possess strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding results in a fast-paced environment.

- Lead and manage the food and beverage team across multiple sites in SA and WA.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations while maintaining high levels of client and staff satisfaction.
- Establish and monitor food standards, preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques to meet ISS brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the executive team and head chef to take corrective action when necessary, within company guidelines, if standards are not met.
- Ensure the highest level of hygiene is practiced and maintained by the entire kitchen team, meeting Health & Safety regulations and HACCP food preparation guidelines.
- Manage menus for routine meal services, private functions, and formal events according to contractual agreements.
- Control food costs and expenses as per onsite contract scope.
- Regularly review and address client and staff feedback, and maintain registers.
- Banking of received money including recording and reporting.

Key requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience leading and developing a multi-faceted food and beverage business with a focus on exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Operations, Business, Food and Beverage or related discipline.
- Holding and maintaining relevant certifications such as HACCP Level 3 qualifications, First Aid Certificate – Level 3, Food Safety Supervisor certification, and RSA certificate.
- Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment (currently TAE40122).
- Basic accounting skills including budgeting and reporting.
