Executive Officer to Chief Digital Officer

About the Role
The Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate ACT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Officer to support the Chief Digital Officer (CDO).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the office of the CDO, including facilitating workflow, coordinating communication, and managing administration.
- Ensure high-quality control and administration of governance documentation related to the office.
- Operate with a high degree of independence while working collaboratively across the Directorate to achieve priorities.
- Liaise with influential stakeholders and their offices on behalf of the CDO, including ministers, directors-general, and other executives.
- Engage with executives and business units, other directorates, and external stakeholders on behalf of the CDO.
- Provide high-level executive administrative and secretarial services to the CDO and the Group.
- Coordinate reporting and provide secretarial and administrative support through activities such as preparing agendas, papers, and minutes.
- Facilitate and monitor the timely flow of correspondence to meet deadlines.
- Contribute to the skilling, development, and mentoring of the EO and EA network to ensure high levels of engagement and satisfaction.

- Understand the work and priorities of the Directorate.
- Have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to work with people across different levels.
- Understand and work within the ACTPS Code of Conduct and ACTPS values of respect, integrity, collaboration, and innovation.
- Coordination and secretariat experience would be beneficial in this role.
