Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing neurological rehabilitation services to clients in their homes or at our centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to make a difference in the lives of our patients.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work closely with a Senior Clinician Physiotherapist to provide assessment and rehabilitation services to clients recently discharged from hospital. You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and evaluating patient progress. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality neurological rehabilitation services to clients in their homes or at our centre
- Work collaboratively with a Senior Clinician Physiotherapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patient progress
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in ongoing professional development and education to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- Current Victorian driver's license
- Experience in neurological rehabilitation, including stroke rehabilitation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Advanced skills in assessment and management of stroke rehabilitation
