Occupational Therapist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Occupational Therapy team at DPV Health.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, client-centered care to adults with diverse backgrounds, focusing on prevention, early intervention, and strength-based interventions to maintain or improve daily living activities.
- Deliver holistic OT care as part of a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing client needs and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, analyze data, and apply evidence-based clinical skills to manage a diverse caseload, addressing physical and psychosocial disabilities, and chronic medical conditions.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, OT students, and Allied Health Assistants to ensure consistent high-quality service delivery and knowledge sharing.
- Engage in quality assurance and service development projects, contributing to innovative and efficient practices, and promoting best clinical practice.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Qualification in Occupational Therapy with AHPRA registration.
- Strong theoretical knowledge base and commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Excellent clinical skills, with the ability to support coordinated care approaches, working with various stakeholders to improve health outcomes.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Occupational Therapy, preferably in a community setting, with CHSP, HACC, HCP, and NDIS funding experience.
Additional Information
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check and hold a valid WWCC.
- Full driver's license and ability to travel between sites are essential.
