Occupational Therapist

As a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist at Eastern Health, you will be responsible for providing neurological assessment and rehabilitation services to clients in their homes or in our centre. This is a rewarding opportunity to work alongside a Senior Clinician Physiotherapist to deliver high-quality care to patients recently discharged from hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs and develop personalized rehabilitation plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions to promote optimal recovery and independence
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Work effectively in a dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- A current Victorian driver's license
- Experience in neurological rehabilitation, with a focus on stroke recovery
- A dynamic and enthusiastic team presence, with the ability to work a Saturday roster
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
