Occupational Therapist Position in Melbourne

As an Occupational Therapist at Eastern Health, you will play a vital role in providing neurological assessment and rehabilitation services to clients in their homes or in our centers. You will work closely with a Senior Clinician Physiotherapist to deliver high-quality care to individuals recently discharged from hospital.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive neurological assessments and develop personalized rehabilitation plans for clients.
- Deliver therapy sessions in both center-based and home settings, utilizing evidence-based practices to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- A valid Victorian driver's license.
- Experience in neurological rehabilitation, with a focus on stroke management.
- The ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment, including Saturdays.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, client-centered care.
- Advanced skills in assessment, management, and treatment of stroke-related conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- A competitive salary range of $98,639 - $125,146 per annum, depending on experience.
