As a skilled IT Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting enterprise IT environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems administration and technical support, with experience in Microsoft enterprise environments, cloud platforms, backup and disaster recovery, scripting and automation, virtualisation technologies, and networking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft enterprise environments
  • Provide technical support for cloud platforms, including Azure and Office 365
  • Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions using Dell PowerProtect and DataDomain
  • Develop and implement scripting and automation solutions using PowerShell, Bicep, and Azure Infrastructure as Code
  • Design and implement virtualisation solutions using VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Configure and manage networking equipment from Cisco and WAN
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related field
  • ITIL certification or several years of experience in similar roles
  • Deep technical expertise in Microsoft enterprise environments, cloud platforms, backup and disaster recovery, scripting and automation, virtualisation technologies, and networking
