Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This is a key role in the maintenance of Boeing CH-47F Chinook mechanical, airframe and engine systems and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and supervise the maintenance, modification, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Certify work and mentor junior technicians, helping to build a skilled workforce in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Requirements:
  • Cert IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) and a DASR Part 66 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML) - Category B1.3, preferably with CH47F Type Rating.
  • Proven knowledge of Aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and the DASR 145 Aircraft Maintenance Regulatory Framework.
  • Previous experience as a maintenance certifier / trade supervisor (E62 Exclusion removed), with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to successfully interact with co-workers, maintaining productive working relationships to meet team, business unit and organisational goals.
  • Be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety procedures; along with experience in computer-based maintenance management systems.
