Senior Employee Relations Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional leader to spearhead our employee relations and industrial relations strategies, driving a positive and productive work environment across our diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic plans for employee relations and industrial relations; manage complex matters, organisational change, employee engagement, culture initiatives, performance programs and consultative committees.
- Negotiate collective bargaining agreements and enhance ER/IR capability within the team.
- Shape and implement our people strategy, co-design services and embed a whole-of-organisation approach to integrated service delivery.
- Oversee investigations and disciplinary processes; engage with unions and other stakeholders.
- Drive innovation in human resource management and workforce planning; develop policies promoting workforce engagement and inclusion through partnerships.
- An established Employee Relations professional with experience developing and coaching team capability in a complex environment.
- A strategic thinker with strong business acumen; analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
- Risk management expertise across people, legal, financial, industrial, safety and wellbeing domains; superior conflict resolution skills; experience representing an organisation in regulatory forums.
- Ability to navigate fast-paced environments as a change agent, balancing innovation with practicality and engaging stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of HR operations, employment legislation, awards and enterprise agreements; experience resolving sensitive matters and negotiating outcomes with unions.
- Experience developing leadership capability strategies and driving diversity and performance.
