Employment Law Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Employment Law Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our legal services team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and representation in employment law matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and representation in employment law matters, including unfair dismissals, general protections claims, workplace investigations, discrimination and bullying matters, enterprise agreements, and contractual issues.
  • Manage complex files, including drafting legal documents and advising on complex issues.
  • Work closely with senior practitioners across a range of public and private sector matters.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years post-admission experience in employment law or closely related litigation.
  • Admitted in QLD (or eligible for admission).
  • Confident in client advocacy, negotiations, and appearances.
  • Skilled in drafting legal documents and advising on complex issues.
  • A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative culture.
