Financial Operations Specialist

International Justice Mission (IJM) is a global leader in protecting vulnerable people from violence around the world. Our team of over 1,200 professionals are at work worldwide in over 30 offices, working towards a mission to rescue millions, protect half a billion, and make justice unstoppable.

The IJM Australia Advancement Office was established in 2014 to fuel IJM's global mission by mobilising Australians' resources and influence to protect people living in poverty from violence.

We have been pioneering the work to protect vulnerable people from violence for over 25 years. Our Justice System Strengthening Projects have reduced slavery and violence between 50% and 85% for very large populations of people in poverty. As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist.

This position can be based in Sydney or Greater Sydney, Australia, and reports to the Director of Finance & Compliance. This can be a part-time or full-time work arrangement.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately entering financial transactions into accounting software, ensuring all data is current and correct, and utilising tools like Salesforce and QuickBooks to validate and cross-check data.
  • Cross-referencing financial records with external sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
