Pathways to Empowerment Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Employment Pathways Practitioner. This is a dynamic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities and helping them gain employment.
">Job Description:
The successful candidate will oversee pre-employment activities for participants with disabilities, preparing them for work and assisting them to gain and maintain employment. This will involve working closely with participants, employers, and other stakeholders to provide tailored support and guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Goal setting and action planning
- Hard and soft skills training
- Confidence building
- Job skills and employment analysis and assessments
- Mentoring and on-the-job coaching
- Engaging with employers to organise volunteer work or work experience
- Ongoing support to participants and employers post placement
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Certificate IV in disability, community services, employment services, or a related field;
High-level computer competency, including MS Office Suite;
Proven ability to prepare and present written and verbal reports;
Ability and willingness to transport clients in your vehicle;
Current driver's license, own vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance;
Current First Aid certificate and willingness to maintain;
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain;
Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain;
Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain;
