About the In-Work Support Mentor Role

This position plays a vital role in supporting individuals to maintain sustainable employment outcomes.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • You will ensure each participant's individual needs and aspirations for employment are at the center of your focus, providing tailored post-placement and on-the-job support to help them maintain sustainable employment.
  • Mentor participants and offer specialised assistance to address workplace or personal barriers, actively engaging with the local community, industries, and stakeholders to identify growth and revenue opportunities.
Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of disability employment services and the needs of people with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with participants, employers, and other stakeholders.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of autonomy and initiative.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of participants and employers.
