As an In-Work Support Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with participants and employers to help resolve workplace challenges, strengthen retention, and promote long-term success. You'll be part of a dedicated team that's passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing tailored post-placement and on-the-job support to participants to help them maintain sustainable employment.
- Mentoring participants and offering specialized assistance to address workplace or personal barriers.
- Engaging with the local community, industries, and stakeholders to identify growth and revenue opportunities for our organization.
- Monitoring placement progress and outcomes, and communicating any risks to relevant team members.
- Running and analyzing participants' reported hours and income, supporting accurate reporting and compliance.
- Maintaining clear and compliant records of participants' ongoing employment, services provided, and participant support.
- Communicating proactively with team members regarding any job loss, potential job loss, or significant reduction in hours, and acting quickly to resolve issues.

Required skills and qualifications include:
- Prior experience in Employment Services or a related field.
- The ability to establish strong working relationships with participants and employers.
- Demonstrated ability to work towards targets and KPIs.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Strong administration and compliance capabilities with a high attention to detail.
- Resilience in nature and the ability to thrive in a continuously changing environment.
