Overview:

The Academic Recruitment Liaison Officer plays a pivotal role in representing RMIT University, fostering strong relationships with prospective students, and driving sales targets. As the primary point of contact, this individual will be responsible for managing various communication channels, including phone, email, live chat, and face-to-face interactions, to ensure seamless customer experiences.

About The Position:

This position focuses on engaging with domestic students, but may also involve assisting with international student inquiries based on demand. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple systems simultaneously and work under pressure to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • To respond to client needs and preferences, measured through lead generation, conversion to application, and positive customer feedback;
  • To maintain accurate records in the CRM database, ensuring data integrity and consistency;
  • To identify opportunities for growth and expansion, collaborating with colleagues to achieve business objectives;
  • To provide exceptional customer service, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly and professionally;
Requirements:

Suitable Candidates Will Have:

  • A proven track record in an acquisition or sales environment, with experience in managing complex customer relationships;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and communicate it effectively to diverse stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and KPIs;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication styles to suit different audiences;
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, with experience in managing data-driven insights to inform business decisions;
