Project Contracts Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development, implementation and proactive management of contract and risk mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply contract management best practices and governance.
- Collaborate with the project team to prepare a contract management strategy plan.
- Analyse contracts to build and drive the implementation of a contract and claims management strategy plan.
- Monitor work to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Issue timely contractual notices to customers and partners.
- Establish and implement commercial procedures for correspondence, notifications, insurance, variation requests/orders, and claims preparation.
- Manage correspondence by analysing incoming and outgoing communications with customers and partners.
- Develop and produce processes and methods for contract/claim management.
- Tertiary degree in Law, Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- Extensive experience in contract and claims management in railway, infrastructure or construction projects.
- Ability to anticipate and manage conflicting priorities.
- Strong knowledge and experience with contract management tools and systems.
- Capability to be operationally effective and accountable.
