Business Contract Specialist

This is a pivotal role for an experienced Business Contract Specialist who will spearhead the development, implementation, and proactive management of contract and risk mitigation strategies aligned with the organization's objectives.
- Develop and enforce contract, claims, and insurance management policies and procedures in line with corporate governance.
- Collaborate closely with the core project team to prepare a comprehensive Contract Management Strategy Plan.
- Analyse contracts to design and drive the implementation of effective contract and claims management strategy plans.
- Ensure compliance with contract obligations and track project schedules to meet contractual milestones.
- Issue timely contractual notices to customers and partners.
- Establish and implement project-specific commercial procedures.
- Monitor and manage correspondence by analysing incoming and outgoing communications with customers and partners.
- Develop and produce project-specific processes and methods for contract/claim management.
- Tertiary Degree in Law, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
- Extensive experience in contract and claims management in the delivery of railway, infrastructure or construction projects.
- Ability to anticipate and manage conflicting priorities effectively.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Contract Management and Project Management tools and systems.
- Capability to be operationally effective and accountable.
