About the Role:

This is a leadership position that requires a skilled and experienced individual to oversee the workshop operations at Inchcape Automotive Retail. As a Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for leading and directing a team of technicians to ensure efficient and effective workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and oversee the repair of technical issues, providing support to technicians to build their knowledge base.
  • Ensure all work is completed within the manufacturer's repair times guide and Inchcape Automotive Retail's standards.
  • Road test vehicles to ensure quality and safety checks are completed.
  • Complete quality and timely work as per repair order instructions, identifying additional work where required (EVHC) and liaising with service advisors to provide feedback to customers.

About You:

  • Proven leadership capability, with experience in managing teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced service centre environment.
  • Good eye for detail and clear understanding of workshop operations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Current Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate.
  • Valid, current driver's license.
