About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced professional to lead our workshop team in a fast-paced, agile environment. As a Workshop Operations Manager, you will be responsible for guiding your team through clear and consistent communication, understanding productivity and efficiency drivers to effectively allocate tasks and ensure work is completed to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and oversee the repair of technical issues, providing support to technicians to build their knowledge base.
- Ensure all work is completed within the Manufacturer's Repair Times Guide and Inchcape Automotive Retail's standards.
- Road test vehicles to ensure quality and safety checks are completed.
- Complete quality and timely work as per Repair Order instructions, identifying additional work where required (EVHC) and liaising with Service Advisors to provide feedback to customers.
About You
We are looking for a professional with:
- Proven leadership capability leading teams.
- Ability to work in a busy service centre.
- Good eye for detail and clear understanding of workshop operations.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Current Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate.
- Valid, current driver's licence.
