About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Field Services Telecommunications Specialist to join our team at Queensland Rail. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of telecommunications and electronic equipment across our regional network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain and repair telecommunication and electronic equipment
  • Maintain accurate records and associated documentation
  • Report on actual work performed against scheduled maintenance programs
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety requirements
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with technical and operational specifications
About You
  • Sound skills in the installation, maintenance and fault rectification of telecommunications equipment and systems
  • Valid driver's license
  • Electronics Trade Certificate or similar qualifications in electronics
  • Ability to travel and work within regional Queensland
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required
