Salary Package

The base salary for this role ranges between $81,000 and $101,000 per annum, complemented by penalties, generous allowances, and 12.75% superannuation.

Job Description

This Telecommunications Installation Specialist role involves carrying out installation, maintenance, and repair tasks for telecommunications and electronic equipment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication and electronic equipment;
  • Maintenance of records and associated documentation;
  • Reporting on actual work performed against the scheduled maintenance program;
  • Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety requirements;
  • Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with technical and operational specifications.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Sound skills in the installation, maintenance, and fault rectification of telecommunications equipment and systems;
  • A driver's license;
  • An Electronics Trade Certificate or similar qualification;
  • The capacity to travel and work within regional Queensland;
  • The flexibility to work some overtime and weekends when required.
