About the role

As a Communications Network Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing telecommunications equipment, ensuring seamless communication services across Queensland Rail's network. This is a unique opportunity to broaden your skillset in telecommunication trade while working on call and out in the field.

Your key responsibilities:

">
  • Install, maintain and repair telecommunication and electronic equipment, including radio systems, transmission systems and remote monitoring equipment">
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed">
  • Report on actual work completed against scheduled maintenance programs">
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely, adhering to Workplace Health and Safety requirements">
  • Meet technical and operational specifications for all tasks">

About you:

">
  • You have sound skills in the installation, maintenance and fault rectification of telecommunications equipment and systems">
  • You hold a valid driver's license and an Electronics Trade Certificate or similar qualification">
  • You are willing to travel and work within regional Queensland, with flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required">

A competitive base salary between $81,000 - $101,000, plus penalties and generous allowances, ensuring your hard work is rewarded
