This is a key position within the Marine Operations team, reporting to the Marine Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's marine compliance and employee training needs are met.
The role involves prioritizing tasks to facilitate and coordinate training programs, as well as managing terminal infrastructure and service equipment. Leadership qualities are essential to motivate and drive employee engagement and upskilling.
This role will support the Marine Operations Manager and provide an essential backup. The position can be based in either Cape Jervis or Penneshaw, and is suitable for those living in the Fleurieu Peninsula area.
About YouA confident and experienced leader with at least 2 years' experience in marine compliance and training is required. Extensive knowledge of marine legislation and advanced knowledge of marine compliance are essential. A MED2 certificate of competency and tertiary qualifications in Training and Assessment and Leadership are desirable.
The successful candidate will have proven leadership experience, ensuring operating procedures, Company Policies, and emergency procedures are maintained in line with National Law and WHS requirements. They will direct and lead employees to support and ensure safety compliance is not compromised and compliance is met.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, results-driven, organized, and have a continuous improvement mindset. They will build relationships with the team to implement and drive change.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate and coordinate training programs

- Lead employees to ensure safety compliance and compliance is met
