Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute cost management strategies for high-profile government projects
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure project success
  • Manage client expectations through effective communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Maintain the highest standards of governance and quality assurance
  • Contribute to the development of market awareness and credibility for Turner & Townsend's cost management services
  • Apply commercial acumen to drive value for money and deliver sound commercial outcomes
  • Administer T&T contracts with precision and diligence
  • Lead a team of cost managers, graduates, and cadets to achieve project objectives
  • Enhance benchmarking capabilities and integrate with the full cost management team
  • Support education initiatives and deliverables within the sector

Requirements:

  • Recognised degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar field
  • 7+ years of experience in cost management roles, with emphasis on consultancy work
  • Proven track record of managing clients, contractors, and consultants
  • Sound experience in cost planning for government projects, preferably in Education and Healthcare sectors
  • RICS and/or AIQS accreditation preferred
  • CostX experience essential
