Compliance Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Compliance Operations Coordinator to join our team at Brite, a leading social enterprise providing employment and training opportunities.
About the RoleThis 20 hour per week position is responsible for coordinating compliance activities, overseeing state funding internal audits, and ensuring policies and procedures are up-to-date. Working closely with the RTO Manager/Student Engagement Coordinator and training teams to ensure regulatory and funding contract requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Regulatory Adherence: Monitor and interpret relevant education and training VET regulations, standards, and funding contract requirements to ensure Brite's compliance accordingly.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, policies, and procedures to support Brite's compliance efforts.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to continually improve educational VET offerings and administrative practices.
- Auditing and Reporting: Participate in regular internal audits to identify areas for improvement, preparing comprehensive reports for management and external authorities.
- Student Records Oversight: Manage student records with strict confidentiality, accuracy, and in line with data protection regulations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and external partners to provide guidance, address inquiries, and ensure alignment with compliance objectives.
- Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver compliance training programs to enhance staff awareness and understanding of regulations and protocols.
- Excellent customer relationship and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise and collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Demonstrate professionalism and the ability to manage critical and competing priorities.
- Demonstrated experience working both independently and as a team; providing support and guidance to compliance queries.

- Estimated annual salary: $55,000 - $65,000 AUD (dependent on experience)
