Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our dynamic Front Office Team at Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless experience for our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process for guests
  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for every guest interaction
  • Prepare group arrivals under the supervision of the senior receptionist
  • Handle foreign exchange transactions for guests, including converting credit card transactions into foreign currency
  • Report any complaints or suspicious actions to the Assistant Manager on duty or the Assistant Front Office Manager
  • Upsell hotel rooms and other facilities to maximize revenue
  • Attend to car park charges and validations, ensuring all are correct
  • Process emails, faxes, and business centre requests as required
Requirements
  • Previous hotel experience is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is essential
  • Knowledge of a reservations system, such as Opera, is an advantage
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail are required
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for hospitality
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to follow tasks through to completion
  • Ability to foster team spirit and a positive work environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and researching skills
  • Proactive and positive focus with a passion for the hospitality industry
