
Care Leadership Specialist in Substance Abuse

Job Description:
As a Lead Health Clinician, you will be responsible for providing specialist drug and alcohol advice and support to our connections program. You will maintain a small clinical case load of people with drug and alcohol use disorder who are leaving custody and returning to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical leadership to facilitate the ongoing professional development of clinicians in drug and alcohol practices.
- Coordinate and allocate caseloads, ensuring care plans are developed with necessary supports tailored for individual patient needs.
- Partner across health streams, government and non-government organisations to enable the transfer and continuity of patient care.
- Participate in service planning and policy development for drug and alcohol services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
You must have experience in managing a team and working with community-based networks in drug and alcohol services. Your skills and qualifications must meet the selection criteria outlined in the position description.
