**Business Growth Specialist - Broadacre & Horticulture Markets**

The successful candidate will be responsible for growing business opportunities in the broadacre and horticultural markets for a leading distributor of innovative specialty chemicals and formulations.

  • Grow existing business relationships to maximise sales & profitability in the South Australian broadacre & horticulture markets.
  • Develop proactive business solutions to meet the short-term business needs & objectives of key customers.
  • Work closely with key influencers in both the private agronomy & consultancy channels to promote & increase adoption of new technologies.
  • Identify opportunities for exposure & potential sales through trials conducted with distribution, private agronomists, researchers, grower groups & farmers.

**Requirements**

  • A significant network of contacts within the SA ag industry, including growers, resellers, agronomists, & researchers.
  • Experience working in the ag sector, preferably in agronomy, extension, or sales.
  • Strong communication skills, allowing for productive working relationships with a range of people.
  • Good understanding of all aspects of supplier & customer relationship management, including supply chain, field marketing & branding.
  • Demonstrate a general understanding of agronomy to assist growers in SA overcome some of their key challenges.
  • Diploma in Agriculture (minimum).
