The role:

We are seeking a dedicated HR person to lead all people and culture initiatives, utilizing their expertise to drive excellence in this area. This part-time position (3-4 days) offers flexibility in days and hours, with potential for growth as the consultancy expands.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and processes
  • Design and implement a performance review structure, career development plans, and other talent retention strategies
  • Create and manage a robust onboarding process and employee lifecycle
  • Lead recruitment requirements and advise on best practices
  • Upskill and empower managers and leaders through training and advice
  • Provide advice on Fair Work, employment law, and compliance matters

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualified in Human Resources
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior level HR Generalist role
  • HR experience in a white-collar, professional environment - Engineering ideal
  • Proven experience in strategy and building/improving HR functions
  • Expertise in recruitment methods, employee engagement, performance management, and policy development
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
