Job Title: F&B Team Leader

This role involves overseeing the daily operations of a food and beverage team. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading teams and managing day-to-day tasks to deliver high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead by example, providing hands-on leadership and ensuring the team delivers consistent customer service.
  2. Direct and assist F&B staff in daily duties required to operate the outlet efficiently.
  3. Liaise with management, kitchens, conference, events, bar, and staff to prevent issues arising and resolve them effectively.
  4. Manage float and takings, complete end-of-day reports, minimize breakages and wastage.
  5. Manage difficult situations, including customer complaints and intoxicated guests.
  6. Ensure staff complete training requirements, report hazards and risks, and maintain a safe workplace.
  7. Perform physical requirements of the role, such as working on feet and heavy lifting.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a similar food and beverage leader role is essential.
  • Certificate III or IV qualification in hospitality (desirable).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team, follow procedures, and provide on-the-job training.
  • Barista and food and beverage knowledge and skills are necessary.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage procedures, sequence of service, table settings, order taking, bookings, billings, and POS experience is required.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, time management, and conflict resolution skills are crucial.
  • Excellent personal presentation is expected.
