This role involves overseeing the daily operations of a food and beverage team. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading teams and managing day-to-day tasks to deliver high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead by example, providing hands-on leadership and ensuring the team delivers consistent customer service.
- Direct and assist F&B staff in daily duties required to operate the outlet efficiently.
- Liaise with management, kitchens, conference, events, bar, and staff to prevent issues arising and resolve them effectively.
- Manage float and takings, complete end-of-day reports, minimize breakages and wastage.
- Manage difficult situations, including customer complaints and intoxicated guests.
- Ensure staff complete training requirements, report hazards and risks, and maintain a safe workplace.
- Perform physical requirements of the role, such as working on feet and heavy lifting.
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage leader role is essential.
- Certificate III or IV qualification in hospitality (desirable).
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team, follow procedures, and provide on-the-job training.
- Barista and food and beverage knowledge and skills are necessary.
- Knowledge of food and beverage procedures, sequence of service, table settings, order taking, bookings, billings, and POS experience is required.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, time management, and conflict resolution skills are crucial.
- Excellent personal presentation is expected.
